The vacuum infusion process draws resin through dry fiber reinforcement under controlled pressure, producing a hull with a precise fiber-to-resin ratio, superior tensile strength, and a lighter, more consistent laminate than traditional hand-layup construction — with zero voids and no excess resin weight. Each hull geometry is optimized for primary stability and efficient tracking across flatwater touring, river paddling, and open-water recreational use, making American Eagle one of the few remaining American-made fiberglass canoe manufacturers building to a genuine engineering standard rather than a price-point.
